Finding Your Truth
(Experience needed or Continuation of Level 1)
Six-week Course
This course will primarily focus on finding the truth in the character and their relationships. You will perform a scene each week that will be filmed and later analysed and critiqued in terms of performance, character and relationship development and execution of character scene objectives. A guest tutor, or film director will be invited to work with you (TBC). This will round out the curriculum for this course providing you with the confidence to perform a scripted scene with assurance. This course includes instruction on:
- Getting to the heart of the scene
- Character preparation and development
- Character objectives
- Acting choices
- Relationship study
- Camera Technique
- Scene study
- Performance critique and analysis
- Audition technique
